Sonic Classic?

You know how theres Zelda Classic and Zquest. Well is there a Sonic Classic and A Sonic Builder? If there isn't they should Make one.

Well, Sonic is a really complex game. It'd be pretty hard to clone. Next, if you were serious about making a Sonic mod, you could hack the genesis roms. There is ALOT of data out there on it.

Anyway, it's a great idea, but seems to be a large and difficult task. Also, SEGA still actively uses their Sonic games. SEGA wouldn't like a freeware and exact clone. Also, there are PC versions of Sonic 3 and Knuckles, Sonic CD, and 3D Blast.

Anyway, good idea, but reality doesn't seem to favor it as a possibility.
