Here's an SNES RPG from Square that you may have heard of at one time or another; one that never left Japan. It was just recently translated so I decided to check it out and share what I thought about it.

The gameplay is very similar to Final Fantasy Tactics and Tenchi Muyo; you move parties of 4 characters around a grid-like map and give them commands. Each party of 4 characters has a dragon which assists it, and you have to care for your dragons by feeding them various items. I haven't played very far in the game yet, so I haven't really got a good grasp on the plot, but from what I can make of it, you're a knight in a rebellion based on an airship, in a world of many islands in the sky. An evil empire has taken over the skies, and you are trying to fight back, meanwhile a legend concerning the Holy Dragons is coming into fruition.

Here are some screenshots from the game:

Awesome. Yeah, Dejap does rock. I'll definitly have to download this one. When I'll get a chance to play it...I don't know. I still have SD3 and ToP calling my name. :D

Would you say that this game is closer to Tactics Ogre, closer to Ogre Battle, or not like either at all, pretty much? I've heard of it before, but was only interested for a while... naturally, that was a bit before I really got into the OB/TO series, which this game seems to be similar to...

Sounds cool. I'll try to find the ROM next time I'm online w/ the computer. I already have a good idea of where to find it.
