2 things here. First we have a blank dmap. I sometimes use this in paint, to plan out some layout before I go into ZQ.

The second one is an 8x8 grid that I'll use when I'm away from my computer, and get an idea. Thank Raichu86 for this one.

Here's both in zip format, as bmps.

Enjoy. :)

How do you use the blank Dmap? :odd:
Also, there are 120 screens per map (15x8), not 64 (8x8).

Heh... I'm quite sure I explained how I use the blank dmap. Same with the grid, that stays in my notebook in case I think of something while I'm out.

Also, yes there are 128 screens per map. But there's 64 per dmap. ;)

Besides, if you can plan a 128 screen dungeon that doesn't get mad boring, then you don't really need this stuff do ya?

Edit - Changed 120 to 128.. Case of the tards. :goofy:

If it's what I think it is, then you cand do the same thing by clicking on the map squares in the dmap editing area.

And how come most overworlds are 120 screens? :odd:

I may actually use this if I decide to start planning dungeons out.

This will be useful. (Thanks...)

But didn't we already get some from the graphics pack of DoY? Yes, but this will probably be more useful. (Insert appropriate emoticon here.)

Um, overworlds are 16x8 (128 screens), not 15x8.

If that comment was directed at me, I'd like to remind ya that these are for planning out dungeons.. Not overworlds.

those are good, but I highly doubt I'm gonna use them, I just make things up as I go, so planning ahead won't be much help for me :p

Then uh.. If you don't plan to use them, why reply to the thread? :odd:

The comment was directed at your math skills. There are 128 screens per map. 16x8=128, 15x8=120

Such happens when you don't sit there and count.
