The thread about ripping X-Box games reminded me. This guy with a doctorate in supercomputer architecture ripped up his X-Box, dismantled the physical part of the security, and says he could make an X-Box into a really cheap Linux machine, to end all ironies, apparently. No, I didn't read this on some backwater site, but it was on big media sites for maybe five minutes, and I don't remember his name so I can't get the article right now. I think it sounds pretty interesting, not that this would even be as easy as putting on of those mother ******* Afterburners on a GBA.
