Flood control... ON SEARCH?

There's a 30-second flood control on searching. This could be annoying if you were to say misspell a search, and wait 30 seconds before making another one. Is there a reason for this, or can it be considered for changing?

That's exactly what happened to me, oh well, you just have to live with it :shrug:

Or complain untill you get banned. I never use it anyways so I really don't care either way, but it makes very little sence.

As somebody said, I can only imagine bandwidth is the issue there. If not...guess it's just a default setting.

How can the search count pruned posts? They don't really exist. Unless you just can't see them by viewing pages on the forum and they don't increase count.
