Ha. Haha. Hahaha. MuahahahahahaHA!

Okay, this is good. I don't know about the rest of yall, but I've never played the original FF3, so I look forward to the remake on GBA.

I look forward to this, but they better add more stuff to it Like some of the extra stuff they did with CT for PSX ( I'm thinking Enemy Database and similar Items). Still a must have regardless. :)

Or, if you want to avoid the ass-tacularness of SquareSoft, you could wait for Lunar: Legeneds, and play a good RPG.

My years of not playing Japanese only ROMs of games is finally starting to pay off!

I'll probably be getting this, I've been without Final Fantasy for too long...

I loved the original, although I never did like the 8-bit graphics, they bugged me, do you know if it will have new graphics?

It will recieve a graphical makeover similar to FF1 and 2 on WSC and PSX. However, I don't think they'll be able to put in the FMVs from the PSX version (which look tight, btw).

baka masamune. the 3 on the snes was 6 but the 3 we mean was the one that was orginally for the nes and was never released here as final fantasy 3 on the nes. :P and 2 was 4 and the two mentioned here is also never released(until now) so BAKA NO MASAMUNE! *smooooshes with large mallet* :kawaii:

He means, this is NOT FF6! It's the Japanese FF3 that was NEVER released in the US!

I've played through FF3j on an emulator, and its definitely good enough to own on the GBA. I only hope Square goes ahead and brings it to the US.

Again, there is nothing confirmed about a US release though. I think FF3 would be a good title to put on GBA with better graphics.

Maybe they could remake the levels somewhat, and make them a little less linear (for those of you who don't know, the levels generally consisted of 1 tile wide paths you had to walk along. Sure, the path branched once in a while, but it was still pretty bland). That was my major gripe with the game though. Switching character classes during the game (much like in FF5) made for excellent strategy.
