Using 152 player windows...

I can't seem to get my gamepad to respond.

And it didn't come with agsetup. I'm a lot better with a controller, so I could use help.

use agsetup from build 104.

Are you sure it works with windows 152?

Works with all versions of ZC, as far as I can tell...I used the agsetup.exe from 1.90 for 1.92.163 and it worked just fine...

All AGSetup does is create an ag.cfg which will allow you to configure most things, like gamepads.

I never found a use for a gamepad in ZC. As a die-hard PC user, (PCGamer Forever! Woo!) I am infinitely more attuned to the Arrow keys, and Ctrl and Alt. (Damned be those two keys in between... A good mashing they be deserving... arr...)

Either the keys or the N64 Gamepad. Now That would be a good controller. Why?
Hmm...

NEW PROBLEM!

I've got the gamepad to work. However, by running AGSetup in ZC 152, my game has been majorly slowed down!! Is this some kind of bug?

Perhaps you enabled Vsync somehow? Hit F1 to toggle VSnyc on/off and Show FPS is F2.

Ohhh, I bet agsetup turned it on somehow. Thanks. Can't believe I forgot it. :(

Then again, your average stupid newbie can't remember anything...

Anyone could forget something for whatever reason, no reason to call yourself stupid.

NOPE!

VSync was not toggled. The joypad itself seems to toggle the slowness. So I can't seem to use it without getting 42/60 fps.

It's possible your gamepad (if on the "game port" not a usb) is conflicting with midi on your soundcard or something. What is your CPU type and clock speed?

Im using one.
And it works out fine!
