ALttP Manga Avatars

Ok, I made two avatars recently with the ALttP manga. I was wondering which you like best.

I like the second one better, but whatever you did to it makes it look like crap, so i'll have to vote for the first one.

I didn't do anything to it, except resize it. The picture I took it from was small as hell :shrug:

If I can get a bigger pic of the cover for that manga then I could get the avatar to look better. I've searched all over the place. If anyone finds it, I'd appreciate it ;)

Anyhow, this is the pic I got that av from. It's a little distorted to begin with.

That's the ugliest Zelda picture I've seen since those CD-I games. that's saying something, there. Provided you look at nothing more than the head, Link's okay. Pretty good, even, the way you set him up. Link just needs to be resized better, that's what happens when you enlarge stuff. You'd probably need a better tool to do so, however... Aghanim (WTF was NoA on when they translated his name into that unpronouncable/unspellable mess?! ARGH! .... I need to wake up.) looks.... um.... looks.... um... "Bat".

I personally think the both stink though the first is better. Do you know where I could find a traslated LttP manga? Cause I found OoT manga and the start of MM manga, but no Lttp Manga :(

The first one is a more memorable avatar seeing as how there are millions of link avatars already. Also, it's much clearer and looks nicer.

I think both pictures look good, but the quality of them make them look bad. The first one looks better because its black and white. btw, where did you get that from?

And maybe Zelda's face is a little off there, but that art is way better than the CD-I games.

Eh.. the manga is pretty good in artistic style, though. I wanted one in color and the cover is the only page in color though, so :shrug: Personally I don't really like b&w avs, so...

Anyhow, I wasn't planning on using either of these anytime soon. It's still going to be a while before I reach my custom av (if I ever do) ;)

It's not translated, but if you want to check it out anyhow, go to [URL=http://tzf.cvgnet.com/comics.shtml]. Go to the bottom page and download the Zelda Manga. The scans are poorly done from chapters 2 and up, though.

The first one is better. I saw a web site with all the "Link" manga versions...I'll get the URL and post it so you can maybe crop some pics of it to get a better version.

K, that would be awesome. I'm still looking for that cover in a bigger size, btw. I think I could make a better looking av with it if it wasn't so distorted.

w00t! You're using one of the avatars I made now, Paullyo6! Sweet, I haven't seen one of those in a while. I say stay with the one you have, as it is particularly good.

EDIT - If you're really looking for some Link Manga style avatars, I found a page on them. Link Avatars (http://www.angelfire.com/comics/melora/) (In the Menu at the top, choose 'avatars')

I still recommend Iceman though ;)

Those are pretty neat Shyguy, they even come in color versions. :) I still prefer my custom Chibi Link though, :thumbsup:
