There was this guy in my family I didn't know too much, but my grandmother was really close to him. Well, he died yesterday, and I don't know how to react to this. I hardly knew the guy! I don't know what to do...

Well, you could always do nothing, unless it's expected. Just don't throw a parade.. that could be considered slightly inappropriate in that circumstance.

The only time a family member of mine died and i was old enough to remember it somewhat, was an uncle, but at the time I didn't understand death. All I was able to deduct back then was he wasn't gonna be around again.

Really there is nothing you can do. And since you didn't know him you should just go about as normal IMO.

Yeah, but be nice to your grandma.

Well my Grandma died last week and I went thru the same problem.

I never really knew her and only saw her once in my life so I can't cry about the death. If anyone is talking about the death I keep a straight face. If anyone asks me about the death I say it's sad to see her go.

Even if I'm not.

I just stay out of conversations about him.

That's likely the best idea.

I guess its hard because you never knew the dude.. So i guess you cant feel anything... But if you do its probably sympathy for your Grandmother.. Just try to be supportive!! ;)

When someone dies life still goes on, and while you obviously mourn when someone your close to dies, you can't get upset about everyone who dies. Don't worry about it, but try to act nicely around those who did know him well though.

Well if he is related a little or close to it you should feel atleast sympothy for him and your grandmother.
