I've been messing around with a couple buttons to create a set for any forum in general, thought I would share the basic template/colors. If you think they're ok, maybe I'll complete the entire thing.

Labeled as 1 through 3.

For basic silver, #1 is best, for general though, I favour #3.
Cool buttons Breaker

Wow, they all look very well done, and very proffessional-looking, but I much prefer two and three over one.

Maybe one would look good if it had a good sin to go with it, but sofar it seems a little.. unusual, and it appears to be a little flatter than the other two. The others look splendid though! Please, continue!

I like the green one.
Nice the way it is rounded on the ends.
The top ones pattern is nice too, like to see that in blue.

I like the second, silvery one.

I like the second and third ones, they look pretty good. They could use some more colors though ;).

Good work!

I did you a favor and made them transparent, Breaker.

They're not transparent around the buttons, though.

Didn't make them transparent because I wasn't done with them yet. ;)

I've updated them a little, added an icon (similiar to vB's) to see how they would really look like as newtopic buttons.

Wow, they do look better with the icon. Suprisingly, it seems to make a big difference in my mind (why we may never know). They're coming along well, great job!

Not bad, bro, not bad.
What did you use? (PSP, PS, MSPAINT [jk])

I guess they just start to look towards completion with the icon added, so they do look better. More professional I guess.

Nice work.

These were just examples to test filters and a shape. The rectangle needs to be less rounded on the edges, or atleast I think so anyway.

Also, anybody that is familiar with Adobe Photoshop and can guess which three filters I used with these buttons can have the PSD. ;)

the green one is definitely a very cool shade and look. Out of the silvery ones, I prefer the top though. Look good...

Damn Breaker, those suck. Man, I could do better in my sleep.

See? Mine's so much better than your "photoshopped" one. Peh, Photoshop. MSPaint is THE tool that the big name companys use.

In case you were wondering, yes, you do sense sarcasm in my text.

EDIT: Damn bandwith. Breaker wasted it all. It's his fault. Not mine.
EDIT2: Bandwith, or just crappy service. Whatever it is, Breaker did it.

Well shit... and I was hoping I could push one or two... or maybe all three of 'em :(, just to see what they do

Nice button pics though ;)
