Its that damn time again! (http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&ncid=716&e=2&u=/ap/20020816/ap_on_sp_ba_ne/bbo_labor_61) Where major league baseball screws the fans once again because the players and owners could not reach an agreement to end this bs over. I felt it was the beginning of the end of baseball when they stopped the All-Star game in extra innings and called it a draw. Is there no end for this bs?

Baseball has sucked for years. It's boring IMO. And Baseball games are worse. =\

The good part about a baseball strike is that it won' pre-empt(sp) shows. I hate it when the show I am going to watch isn't on or is on later just because Fox thinks Baseball takes precedence.

Let them strike, and then get real jobs for a while... I bet they would all gladly go back for as little as 50k a year.

I hate it when major league sports players go on strike...they are getting paid for playing a game for crying out loud!!

And they're getting paid a LOT, too.

Geez, you give them the world, then they want the universe! They get paid a load every game, stop complaining about money and play, you whiners.

LOL

I agree with Darth Cronic. Let them work at fucking Boeing for 6 months, then lets offer them a flat rate of 100k a year for baseball, and lets watch them go scrambling back.

To quote the Simpsons, "$50,000 dollars to play 1 game. Well it's a pay cut but I'll do it."

Give a mouse some cheese and..
..the mouse will want a napkin.
Give a mouse a napkin and..
..the mouse will want a muffin.
Give a mouse a muffin and..
..the mouse will want some milk.

I used to love that story. It goes on quite a bit longer, I just can't seem to remember it. :)

The end goes....

Give a mouse a $25 million dollar contract and...
...the mouse will want a $40 million dollar contract, a solid gold jersey, and its own business jet.
