View Full Version : Map screenshots.

Anyone know how to take a screenshot in ZQ of the View Map selection? When you click on it? I used the Print screen button, but when I paste the shot, it's black with the zoom percent in green.

Hey, sorry I wasn't on when you IMed me. I had my little Away Message box up and all, but it seems you didn't get it. Shucks. Anyway, uh the way I did it is the way you tried. Zquest and Zelda Classic act really weird with PrintScreen. It seems that the function happens either way early or way late of when you press the button. In Zelda Classic, I think the screenshot button is F12 (better than Printscreen because of what I just said), but I think that function doesn't work in Zquest. So I just use PrintScreen and ALT + Tab to Paint Shop Pro. If it didn't work, I go back in, press it again, and try. It usually works after 3 attempts. That's the way I do it, and it sucks if it doesn't work for you. :(

Try mapmaker rather than taking a screenshot of the map.

I thought mapmaker didnt work with 1.92 ( if thats the virsion we are talking about)

Mapmaker 1.92 works with 1.92

You can use the f12 feature in ZQ, look under etc.

Actually, if you're using beta 163, you can't use mapmaker, as the unencoded quest export is broken in that version.

I don't think he could make a 163 version if the unencoded quest export is broken.
