Does anyone else think that media conglomerates are really going too far now? We have one of those stupid 'be your friend' news stations, and I've already heard Avril Lavigne-Complicated used as the little 'going to commercial blurb' song. And Vanessa Carlton went public in very recent memory, and they're already using her for the theme song of a new show. (And of COURSE it's the one I especially hate.) I tell you, pay for play sucks a golf ball through a garden hose.

I think you're bitching about nothing. Because media peeps are using stuff you dont like, you think they're going too far? Advertising firms have been using popular songs in commercials and tv shows for years. I remember an old Pontiac Sunfire commercial that had Jimi Hendrix's song Fire in it.

And the radio station thing went right over my head, wtf are you talking about?
