I've always been a huge fan of virtual on ever since I played it in the arcade. Granted, the console versions were a bit hard to control if you didn't have a dual joystick setup.

I think now that Sega is making games for other systems, that they should make a next generation Virtual-On game for Ps2 or Gamecube. Any thoughts?

Yes, they should. I believe you can pick up the PC version of Virtual-On a www.the-underdogs.org, however.

I think a GameCube version would be awesome. PS2 as well, but I just don't have a PS2.

I'd really enjoy playing Virtual-On on GameCube.

I think the PS2 controller would work better, but it seems Gamecube would be more likely to get it if one was made.

Virtual-on. It sounds like a computer version of something that should be in ASWGL. Virtual getting it on.

Yeah! VO on GCN would rule! How about an Armored Core on gC while we're at it? Or maybe a port of the Japanese arcade game Gundam: Federation vs Zeon, that would RULE!

Actually, I have a copy VO before they took it off Underdogs.

It's actaully quite a good port, compared to the Saturn. And I beleive if you can find two joysticks you can play this game with them.

And yes, VO does kick major portions of ass. ^_^

As do I. I didn't even know they made a PC port until someone made a post about it a few months ago (was it you, Alex? I think it might have been). It was one of my favorite arcade games.

I've actually considered trying to make a quake 3 mod based on VO. Of course I then ran into the problem of not having any idea how to do that, or having a decent 3d modelling program.

I've played VO before. It's pretty fun.
