Im surprised you didn't ask what this thread was about. Besides if you took the time to take your eyes of of your pornography and read what I wrote you would see that i didnt say I didn't like microsoft in this particular thread.

I hate microsoft and the stupid bloatware software they enjoy putting out though. But I respect the evil ripping off genius of Bill Gates. Smart little bastard to get away with all this stuff.

I'm using winXP right now and other then the fact that it takes up 2.5GB of my HD I don't mind it, it has never crashed on me. Sure programs crash but the OS hasn't. Im also dual-booting with slackware 8.0 so I can always use it if I decide I not to use winders.

I won't though. It pays more to program for windows then it does to program for linux. Open-source my ass...I don't want some snotty little shit taking my code and changing it. Grr....Open source is good if your a programmer who needs something to help themselves otherwise program the entire thing yourself...

I like XP as well. I agree that it shouldn't take up so much HD space, though. I think most of the little effects are what takes up so much. At least it never crashes on me. I'll tell you who's just as smart as Bill Gates: the man behind Hewlett-Packard. I bought my printer for $50. The cartridges are $30 a piece. It only comes with the color cartridge, but it's insane that it's almost cheaper for me to buy a new printer than the cartridges for it.

Awhile ago, there was a deal going out for free HP printers, so my mom and aunt bought all of them they could, took out the ink cartridges, and sold them on Ebay. We're just now running low on them again.

Heheh...Yeah thats funny isnt it...now HP owns compaq which is not cool at all... I liked compaq...

Oh, HP makes good printers in my experiance (I use tons of them at work) but the PC's HP makes use crappy parts. Oh well ;)

And Vernan, you don't know about the GPL if you think that anyone can take your code and change it. The GPL protects your code so you still get credit for it.
