Leave Money or Life?

On this room type I was wondering if it's possible to have it so that link cannot leave the screen until he chooses -1 hc or rupees. I know this is for continuing to go somewhere, but it would be nice if I could use as just a hole on a screen you can fall into.

Yes you can. Since a guy disappearing counts as an enemy, you can place shutters, or make an enemy-secrets. You can even set up an event with one of these rooms.
