Which of the following post count numbers would you consider a milestone.

1000 if you didn't get in a week or something, 5000 and 10000.

All of them, if you think they are.

Milestones are in minds's people: For you, 100 is a milestone, but for others may be not.

Simple as that.

2K, 5K, and 10K are the only one that I may even mention getting.

Only if your some lifeless fuck who apparently only comes to AG to post about how often they post and or you seem to think we care how much gibberish you spew into multiple one line posts made with no actual attention to the subject at hand.

I'd think the 1k milestones like 1k, 2k etc. but 10 000 posts it quite an achievement, if you want to look at it that way.

that would depend. A milestone may be 500 if you take three years getting to it. 3000 would not be a milestone if you became a Word Association Spammer to achieve it.

Milestones don't have to be post counts either, you can have anniversaries of when you joined, and that's probably better than a post count.

I mean, I don't plan on posting about how often I post, since I'm primarrilly here because it's a good place to host RPG's, but I just wanted to know what you all thought.

Personally, I consider all of them to be milestones. I also consider 500 to be a milestone, and, in fact, every single half-star (though to a lesser extent, of corse). You'll note that I have not even a single post in word association, and aviod similar games (such as, for example, mage points--which are, to my mind, a great waste of time. Of course, I don't know any of the answers anyways, so it could, theoretically, be related). I don't even hang out in GD very often, since the topics go by too fast for it to be possible to keep up with them.

On the question of whether I would post about any of these milestones: maybe when I hit 1000...depends what kind of mood I'm in. That'll be after my two-year anniversary anyways (if nothing drastically changes my posting habits), so it's not like I have to worry about it any time soon.

For most of AGN's members 2 could be a milestone since most of them have 0 or 1 post. :D

I think 1k, 2k, 5k, and 10k could all be considered milestones... although I have yet to reach any of these I don't post just to increase my count, I post on things that interest me and catch my attention.

I think it depends on the ammount of time it takes to get somewhere. Like DarkJim said, its not as big a deal to get 1000 posts if you do it in a week. :shrug:

I think a milestone is what ever the persone think it should be...

Its really in the eye of the beholder....

I think 1k,2k,3k, etc..... Is ok..

I think every 1k is a milestone, but to be honest I don't even know how many I have.
Ever since they were removed I don't much think about it.
