Hey, a friend of mine just (re)opened a page filled with old games. Currently he has Amiga, C64, Atari, Mac and PC games bringing it to a total of 10.389 games making it the worlds largest collection of free games.
He spent the last 6 months re-designing the page and adding english to the site. The forum there have been given a few retouches too, and also making english the main language there too.

He need a little help with spreading the word outside little Denmark though, so I told him I would do that wherever I got any chances.

Bah, I'm no mod, I'm just an ordinary member. Besides, we aren't that heartless. It takes a lot of effort to get banned, and even more to stay that way.

Well, it's not ROMS, and everything they have up there is abandonware... the games that aren't abadonware aren't downloadable, so they really aren't breaking any rules. :shrug:

I didn't even know C64 had anywhere close to 3054 games on it, and I still have mine. Interesting ;)

It absolutely amazes me how far technology has come since the C64. That thing was the shit. Then you look at the size of the games... 20kb or so... and sit and wonder... why the fuck it took 30 minutes for these bitches to load on the damn thing... :laughing:
