View Full Version : Uhhh... ZNES n' actraiser I problem...

Uhhh... When I beat the Dragon boss on top of the norht wall tree, the game freezes. ZNES still works, but the game itself is frozen. Can I get any help with this? TIA

Try getting a different copy of the ROM. Your saves should still work fine, although your saved states might not. Or, alternatively, you could try a different emulator.

(Incidentally: at the ZSNES forums they have a filter which takes every instance of "ZNES" as you spelled it and replaces it with something to the effect of "1337 PlAyStAtIoN 3 EmUlLaTrO!!!111" )

You could also try a different version of ZSNES. I once had a problem in Seiken Densetsu 3 where it would crash everytime a boss did a certain attack, and then I tried another ZSNES version and it worked fine.

Zsnes also has trouble with certain games. So whenever they release a new verison, you'll see "game works again", or "Fixed weird bug in game".

If none of the things VEL and Skatche suggested work, be sure to report the bug at the Zsnes forums.

The game should be fine. Try Snes9X and see if it has that problem. Also when you load the game if you get "bad checksum" or checksum bad, whatever, you have a bad rom.

Iceman2x was indeed permabanned, but he is not anymore, as you can see. It is against rules (I think) to request ROMs. It is also against the rules to provide a hyperlink - note, this is very important - to ROM sites. What this means, however, is that you can post ROM sites in such a way that the URL must be copy-pasted in order to work. For example, posting http;\\oneminuteleft,com is not technically against the rules.

Skatche, has there been a recent change to that rule? For as long as I can remember, people have gotten reprimanded for even posting the name of a ROM site without the www and .net or whatever.
