well my scanner converts everything to .bmp's so Ill have to check it out first cause I dont feel like doiing that ...

Mr. Cow.., get a nifty little program called infranview. It's free, and it converts prety much any type of graphic into any other type. Either that or poke around for a bootlegged copy of photoshop or something.
