Im just kinda curious, is there anything that i can use to convert .spc files to MP3 or into any burnable format?

Iv'e never heard of .spc, but have you tried making copies of the files and changing the suffix in explorer? This is asuming you use windows.

yah, i use windows,
and SPC file is an extension that is used for music files that are ripped from roms... but i want to convert them to MP3 so that i can burn them to a CD... and i dont think that changing the extension would work because its a whole differnet format then MP3 i beleive...

I'm *fairly* sure WinAmp has a plugin that allows you to convert. I think I used it once to change Zelda 3 music into MP3s.

Yes, you can do it in Winamp, at least I made a WMA file out of a Link's Awakening rip. Go into your Preferences in Winamp, select output, and choose the one that records mp3s. Then play the track you want and it will record into a mp3. At least this works when making WMAs.

he isn't exactly on good terms with dc right now. quite frankly i wouldn't blame him since he's been argueing with him left and right in ggd. :goofy:

There are several Winamp plugins, actually. I think the best is the SPC Tool plugin, but I'm not sure.
You can also find it and several others here (http://www.zophar.net/utilities/spc.html).

Get the plugin, use the winamp output plugin called diskwriter. It should make you a 3 minute wav file which is perfectly burnable.
