Metal Slug GBA Announced
Playmore, SNK's license-holder, reveals its first internal GBA product.
August 01, 2002 - Playmore, the Japanese company that now holds the rights to SNK intellectual properties, announced today that it will produce a Game Boy Advance Metal Slug title. No details, release dates, or game information were revealed on the game, other than its temporary name: Metal Slug Survival Mission.
This is the first game to be internally produced by the SNK company...the upcoming King of Fighters EX title for the GBA was developed and published in Japan by Marvelous Entertainment, with Sammy and Majesco co-publishing the title in the US.
We'll have more tidbits on Metal Slug Survival Mission as the game progresses in development.
