I just got FF-X the other day, so far my one and only game for the PS2, and must say I'm impressed.
It's not starting out as a traditional FF but it has a lot of good things to offer.
The entire main dialog if spoken took a little getting used to but is cool.
I’ve about 10 hrs on the game and it seems vary much like I'm watching a movie at times. You go from one clip to another with vary little game play, I hope it gets better.
I have always said that story is important but maybe this is more story than I want.
Well maybe it will get better, it's not that I don't like it, I do, it’s just different I guess.
So what does anyone recommend I get for my next game?
I like RPGs mostly, my son ordered MOH; Frontline on e-bay.
What else should I get?

Glad you like it. It was an alright game, but simpy put, Final Fantasy is not as good as it used to be. I simply lost interest in this game about halfway through.

FF7 was the best out of all of them. Oh and for the next RPG, get Mario Sunshine. Its coming out in August 27th. Trust me, that game will last a lifetime to play.;)

What ?:) Super Mario Sunshine isn't a RPG, its a action/adventure platformer.

I so want to play FFX.

Damn, that's pretty good for a Mario game. Esp considering Luigi's Mansion was like a 7 hour game (or so I've heard).

Translation: You'll beat in in 15-20 hours. Nintendo's times are based on:

1. You're under 13
2. You don't "get" games at first...takes a long time to be good.
3. There the gods of gaming (they are...but not difficulty).

IE. Said OoT takes 40 hours. I beat in in 21 first time around.

Don't yell at me but have never played a MGS game.
I had in my hand at a pawn shop the first game and the guide book all for 30$ and said would get it lator, lator came and it was gone, kind of regret that.
But yea MGS2 look good from the reviews I'v seen. I'll see if I can rent it first.
