Anything as good as RM2K (or better)?

I've just got my Internet access working on my computer and I want to download RPG Maker 2k again, but I want to know if there are any similar programs that are just as good (or even better).
I'm dreading downloading that 14 megabyte RTP file again.

Ask Jer(some number). He was plugging a program similar to what you're looking for. I wouldn't recommend it considering Jer slammed RM2K just to convince us to switch over, but I'm going to be nice about. After I'm done making AGN Fantasy I might take another look at it...:mischief:

I think it's RPG Toolkit. I haven't tried it either, though. At least the RM2k RTP download worked this time, and I will not have to learn to use another RPG maker after I just got the hang of RM2k :) .
