Yep...an official DDR game is now out for the PC.

This took me by surprise, quite frankly. And it came out on my BIRTHDAY, no less. What a present. ^_^

And as for the music list, it is NOT the same as DDR USA for the PSX, in fact it seems to borrow a lot of songs from Konamix as well.

If you want to snag your own copy though, it's gonna be a little tough. You can either get it from

There is an additional section named downloads. New charactors for download are confirmed, but perhaps they could add more music through that as well...

Amen DC, i couldnt agree more (although it is areally good workout if it try it on the higher levels with faster songs and u do it for about 2 hours straight, gets the good ole cardio and resperatory working for ya) :laughing:

What is the point without the special control, I.E. the "dance pad"? I think if you seriously want to play this game you should buy the fucking arcade machine. But I doubt any of you have like 500-1500USD.

The only saving grace for this game is that it allows people who ordinarilly there most strenuous excercise consists of lifting their ass out of a computer chair to go masterbate a chance to get a full cardio vascular excercise... so that they can maintain the enrgy level needed to masterbate and make it back to said computer chair...

DDR is just a fun way to excercise, and hey, Its better than Track & Field or Dance Aerobics on the Power Pad

Then you can talk about how gay it is. DDR is a little harder than it looks, and hell, I even thought it was gay at first.

Hey Mott, arcade machines are nice, but there are metal pads that you can get (not the plasic ones), that are almost arcade quality. There were problems with the origional four arrow batch, but the Solo batch (6 arrows) has so far turned out quite nicely. And there is always the RedOcatne Igntion pad if you cant afford a hard pad.

EDIT: Now I see the context of your question. There are many REALLY good commercial pads that you can get, and through a PS->USB port you can use them with DDR PC. How the hell do you think we played Dance With Intensity before DDRPC?
