the stock market

In light of the stock market going poop, I've taken a small amount of my own money and begun investing. I've already made some money, as the stock I chose has increased by over 20% in the two days since I bought it. As I make more money I plan on buying stocks and bonds while they are dirt cheap.

Anyone else ever play the market?

No, I don't. My family does regularily, but I don't. I will eventually, but not yet, I don't have enough money to risk.

Generally it is a good idea to buy stocks when they are poop, then you dont have much to lose. Also, I invest in many small, growing companies, because you cant lose much, and if they grow, you are in the money. Rather, with big companies, you are more likely to lose more than you could gain. Gains would be small while losses would be large, because you are investing more money.
