Hey, I jest got some new patches for DW, in english And I started palying, 4 and a half hours later, I had beaten the dragonlord. :)

Ya, thats right, the whole game 4.5 hours.

Actually I got it when I didn't even know what it was. It now sits in a box with the other nes games, like 2 feet from me.

Why did you need a patch for Dragon Warrior 1? The game was released in the US...

I'm playing through Dragon Warrior II right now, btw, and has inspired me to use RM2k to make a classic Dragon Warrior style RPG with it... I finally figured out how to make the main character walk in place, like in the original games.
