I have no problems fueling the fires of controversy. IN fact, it seems that people are ignoring how LoZ:GC looks in action and base their opinions on still shots, which tends to be a bad mistake (life is fluid, ask any cameraman).

No... I wasn't ignoring anyhing. I've seen all sorts of videos and have had friends with very similar gaming interests tell me what I already knew after their hands on at E3...

It's a cartoon version of OoT with a shitty sense of control.

All in all I'm just not impressed, and I think by now I have a pretty good clue what I look for in a game.

After seeing the vids:

The music is annoying, and very childish.

The characters are very hard on the eyes

and as I was told from my friends who ACTUALLY PLAYED THE GAME the movement sucks.

Thanks for the videos. Now I know it really is, with confidence, a POS. And no decent music either. So this looks like something to rent sometime once. Definitly not a buy new game.

If you've said that you've seen the thing in action, then I believe you. There's no need to comment on it further, you've stated that you're not and I tend to take what people say about themselves to be fact. If I singled you out, saying that "DC has, in fact, seen the action and has not been impressed", I would be stating something that I didn't know at the time - also, you're acting egotistical again; thinking this thread was directed towards you, when in fact I had no intention of aiming at anyone.

No, I realize that quite well. I didn't make this thread to change minds. I did it thinking that some people hadn't seen the game in action and were debating about it without that information. I think we can agree that there's nothing worse than a debate with people who don't know what they're talking about.

I have already seen the game in action.

It looks good from what I can tell. Some people have no taste...

And as for control, that is something that I'm sure will be ironed out in the final version. It was built on an OoT base for christsakes, why would they DOWNGRADE a proven engine?

I have seen all these videos and they do look good. But DC is right. The characters are a freaking pain in the eyes. The terrain looks good, although bland, but the characters need to be improved a lot before launch. The music wasn't very good. either. Other than that, it's pretty nice, and will maybe stay on my to-get list until more media comes.
