If you right click on a tile in the it will bring up a screen that lists different properties of the tile. On that screen there are two lines:

A. Frames - The number of frames of animation for the tile. All the animation frames should be in order from left to right on the tile page.

A. Speed - The speed that the tile is animated at. The lower the number the faster the animation. Think of it this way, the number represents the amount of time that one tile is shown before the next is displayed.

Oh yeah! Should clarify that you right click on the tiles when you are on the main editing screen (the one that you design screens on). Hope this helps!

I thought it would help but im editing this. When i right click the tile i want to animate(in the main screen editing screen) it just brings up the combo editor. Theres no Frames/Speed option in the combo editor?

EDIT2: now i see where you got that from but im using 1.90 right now. I've played quests with animated tiles using 1.90 before. So how do i do it in 1.90.

I don't think you can do it in 1.90.

The only way you can have animated tiles in 1.90 is by using palette cycling or by using animated items.

i have the new version but does it come with upgrade.exe?

Plus my screen looks curved in 1.92. Not really a problem but it gets annoying to look at.

yes it comes w/upgrade.exe. and if it looks rounded, then you can always change your screen settings! :D

I don't do palette cycling, but there's a good demonstration here. (http://zqtutorial.armageddongames.com/newadditions/palettecycling/index.html)
