Whats happening to electronics...are we looking at what happened in the 80's that claimed the lives of Atari and the awsome Commadore. I doubt it but still whats up...

Also...off the tread topic, who the hell sings that song that has the one phrase: "Its the end of the world as we know it"

The song is in the independance day movie for you people who don't remember it.

(Oh yes another thing, since the stock markets seem to be on a small plunge, who is going to start the next war to bouy them?)

Electronics sales are down for the same reason that the stock market is down.

There is little consumer confidence in large companies anymore, not after the Enron and MCI/Worldcom scandals.

It is a little dip, after all we were recovering from a recession and these corporate scandals have hurt the economy even more. The economy will recover, we just don't know when.

America is suffering for it's scandalist business ways of the 90's. They thought, with digital heaven, they could pull off massive scandals to beat the odds. Now, thanks to forensics (like Microsoft's spyware), they're paying for their ways. And so is corporate America...

Free Enterprise in America was based on the idea that people are generally good of heart. Now that it's no longer the case, (Enron, anyone?) the economy is really paying for it.

The money has to be somewhere. It doesn't just go away.
