Computer Deal?

Ok, a computer. Intel P-4 2000, 2 gigs, 128 megs ddr ram, 40 gig ultra ata hard drive, 32 meg 3d video display, 56x max cd rom drive, floppy drive, 3d sound card, amp. speaker system, 56k fax modem, 10/100 network interface, keyboard, and mouse all for 500 bucks. Is this a good buy?

Yeah, I think that's damn good. You'll need a monitor of course, but otherwise sounds like a good deal.

It's still a pretty decent deal, even in American dollars, and even without the monitor. With most computer systems, you have to buy the monitor separately (which in a way makes sense... that way, you can get a monitor of the size you want, without being stuck with the one that comes with your computer).
