View Full Version : Some problems in the Z3 sound file...

A few problems I've found that DN didn't point out (probably didn't notice):


It doesn't change the Triforce sound (but that's a midi, so I guess it couldn't be changed).
Some of the annoying "Item appears in a room" sounds haven't changed
The "Roar" sounds are still the same.
The "Ocean Wave FX" sound is too loud.
The sound when you pick up a "Normal" (non-special) item is wrong.
The Rupee sound is also wrong.


Just thought I'd point this out.

The only sound i think is wrong is the rubee sound. Everything else really i dont care about.:tongue:

I have noticed these bugs for a while now. Hope these sound bugs get fixed. There should be an option in ZQuest where the player could change the sound (only in the Sound Effects data file that the player has) so that you can configure which Sound Effects data you want to use. Imagine, a BS-Zelda Sound Effects data... now that is a good idea!

Back to the topic: Both the boss roars and item pickup could be used from BS-Zelda.

No, I think BS Zelda should be a seperate file.

Another thing:

There's still a cave entrance/exit sound, there isn't one in Z3.
