I found this site a while ago, and it has a group of little programs that are really handy to have if your running windows:

-Start Up Control Panel - easily configure what programs run at start up
-Start Up Monitor - when enabled, this program tells you if a program tries to register itself to run at system startup, and lets you choose if you want to let it - great for stopping trojans and unwanted junk from coming up when your pc boots
-Tray Saver - have a lot of icons in your system tray? This little prog lets you manage your tray icons into a more compact and usable form, so the tray icons won't clutter your task bar.
-MCL - a little command line utility to let you run programs quickly and easily (great for fans of Unix!)
-Clipomatic - A clipboard cache prog that stores your last couple cuts/pastes. When you want to paste, hit crtl+alt+v, and it'll bring up a list of these previous cuts/copies, very handy.

I've tried all these out, and I think they're great. There are also a few more programs on the site, and you can find them at http://www.mlin.net. Enjoy :D

Those are quite cool, but I recently downloaded something, my computer froze and I had to get it fixed, so I'm extra careful nowadays.

Cool programs though.

Yep, and they're really really tiny programs too, all under 50k I'm sure. I'm glad you guys checked some of those out. Doesn't that Mike Lin guy make some neat handy programs? :)

Also, TweakUI and it's counterparts are absolute must haves.

I found a program called ObjectBar, makes your Toolbar etc. at the bottom look exactly like WinXP. Really cool for those who like the look of XP but use Win9x.

www.stardock.com/products/objectbar

There you can download a free version of it, if you want.

Just thought it was another cool little something for Win9x people. Also, there are also Linux skins.;)

You forgot powertoys for WinXP users. It's great for tweaking windows like auto booting as certain users and other crap I never checkout.

TweakUI has a tab that says Paranoia. It is used for deleting histories, etc. You've got to be a power user if you're going to look at porn on the net.
