No, all you have is the rings from Zelda 1. They just reduce the damage you take.

Well, you can fake it with Boss Flags. Or you can give the player two items at once- say, the ring and the boots so it seems like the ring is letting him walk over fire.

Yeah, its part of the DX/seasons/ages thing that they're thinking about that i brought up not to long ago, i remember reading today something about a Zquest update, like a new one utilizing the same engine but is based around the GB games.
