There is a second expansion, not Brood War, but another. Gamefaqs.com even has codes for it.

There's only 1 Expansion for Starcraft, called Broodwar. Any other "expansion" is not official and not made by Blizzard. Blizzard or Hasbro went after a fan project because they used the term "expansion".

I guess they'll start working on Starcraft 2 sometime now that they got Warcraft III done, but probably after the Warcraft III expansion.

According to Bill Roper, the next game they are working on is a new franchise.. therefore not StarCraft 2.. maybe Team 2 will work on it when World of WarCraft is finished however..
