Have you read Alphadawg's Tutorial yet? If not, I suggest you do.

Moving to ZQuest Editor Help.

Edit the dmap and put the screen number after Continue:
Then place the green square on the starting screen where you want Link to appear. This is explained really well in the ZQuest Tutorial.

1) Try the Table of Contents: Setting Link's Starting Point.
2) Don't tell us what we've "gotta" do.
3) you also need to read the announcement at the top of each page of these forums: Topic Placement. :eyebrow:

Try not to post twice in a row. It is frowned upon.

link182, that behaviour is not necessary. Please don't speak to your moderators this way unless you want something very bad to happen. And I mean that. :evil:

And I will be nice enough to post a link; I just took a cruise over to the ZQ Tutorial to find this. Here is how to set Link's starting point (http://zqtutorial.armageddongames.com/chapter1/page4.html#Step 10) (as the title says).

Also, check the ZQ Tutorial Table of Contents (http://zqtutorial.armageddongames.com/contents.html) for more info pertaining to quest creation. This was the first guide to ZQuest I ever saw, in its' older version, and it has persisted as the best guide you'll ever find. Check it out. :)

{Edit: I just noticed that JJMaxx's guide on how to never finish a custom quest (http://zqtutorial.armageddongames.com/contributions/neverfinish/index.html) is on there. Awesome. :) }
