All I need is to be able to burn from ISO files and the ability to copy to ISO files. Thanks in advance.

P.S. - Either Windows or Linux will work.

Nero burning rom has a free version, but I don't know that you can get it off the internet. Try a google search for nero burning rom and see if they offer it for download.

www.ahead.de is the site of ahead software, which makes nero. I think you can also just go to www.nero.com and download it. Savior, check your PM's, as I sent you one ;)

CloneCD doesn't like ISO files, however. It uses CCD or something stupid.

[edit] Thanks fmehmobile, the *ahem* perfectly legal CD key that umm somebody that wasn't you sent me works fine. ;)

Linux has planty of them.
I personally use CDrecord with GCombust as the graphical front end.
Any installation of Mandrake should have them, and I don't see why other distros wouldn't. If they aren't installed, then install them.

GCombust makes setting things up much easier, so if you use CDrecord I highly recomend GCombust.

This program is shareware for windows.

If you dont pay for it the speed it works at is capped, you can use it to make iso's as well.

Most are free (the commercial ones) just with limits. Either burning speed or time till it stops functioning. Both can ussually be fixed.
