Well if you go to this topic: http://boards.armageddongames.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=55413 you will find that Warlord has been pruning before. And also, a lot of old threads are considered "Classics" and they really should be kept for the occasional memory. And the old threads sometimes are funny to read. I know I haven't been here that long so I never even heard of any of those threads. But to others, they are priceless.

Basically reviewing what was already stated above, War Lord prunes when it is absolutely necessary because AGN is a classic board, it has classic members and a number of classic posts that don't want to be lost.

Last time the posts were pruned, many member's post counts decreased, causing them to complain very loudly. I think the admins try not to prune the posts so they don't have to fix lots of post counts all the time.

Actually, I don't think it's possible to change post counts on the vB. You might be able to change them, but I'm pretty sure that when you post, they'll be reverted. -_-

I don't mind the posts. It was a bit annoying back on the UBB though. GD had 250 links to topic listing pages on it. :lol:

How does having so many thread take up bandwith? Why do you even care? Do what you want with your forums and we will do as we wish with ours. These are big forums which get many posts a day, deal with it.
