The 3 most Patriotic games...

Just for July 4th, I decided to put on another poll, about Patriotic games...



#1- Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty

Even the name says Patriotic all over it! The Sons of Liberty was a group of soldiers back in the 1700's that fought the British. It was because of them we won our freedom. Also, the game itself is very much into patriotism.There many moments that Snake makes you proud to be in America.

#2- Medal of Honor: Allied Assault

Ever wanted to know how it felt to be behind enemy lines in WWII? This is your chance. You can feel like a true soldier protecting freedom for the nation, and others being tortured and captured by Hitler's army. A true historic experience.

#3- Grand Theft Auto 3

I just HAD to put this down. The whole idea in this game is pure FREEDOM. Not really patriotic freedom, but freedom in a sense you have to fight for it... Also, this option is a joke... laugh.

The first 2 i agree with, but #3?...
That game seems more anti-American than anything.

Well it's pro America that you can actually buy it here. Wasn't it banned in Austrailia?

I'm surprised it's not banned here. I guess the First Ammendment is the only thing that stands between banning and not banning.

I thought about buying it, but I'm almost certain I wouldn't be allowed to play it, I'd have to play a demo first, and I don't think they make one. I can't rent it because I don't have a PS2.

im just a little bit curious, why would it be banned? maybe there something im completely missing about GTA3 but like i dont see anything wrong with it, your stealing cars, shooting poeple in the head with a sniper riffle (as well as a large assortment of other guns) its just like the movies :D :lol:
