I mean when i went to edit my post, there was a box to delete my post. I never ever noticed it there before. Is it a new feature for mods?

I think it's so if you accidentally click on the button, you don't lose the post. It prevents accidental deletion.

EDIT: Clarification. I thought you were talking about the check box.

You can't delete your own posts. It was a feature before...on UBB and was allowed, but it has long since been disabled...beginning back on UBB.

I think they should allow you to delete your post, with the restriction that you can only delete your post if your post is the last one in the thread. This would prevent people from screwing stuff up by deleting posts earlier in a conversation, and since post count is (still :() directly related to physical posts, the delete option could not be used to boost post counts.

That could be done, DD?

Hm.. maybe with some nice HTML skills... it could work.

That's when the box appears. It only shows up if your post is the last one.
