Or just continue to make 'em at home... its anyones call. The article says the quality will be better, but it doesn't say if its actually noticably better, or just a higher number in some spec.

Observers say the green light from AMCOS, which represents songwriters and music publishing companies, has world implications and suggests the industry has been cornered into a compromise with the unstoppable pirating of music.

How ever so true; it's about time that one of them bent to this knowledge.

Now to work on the RIAA...

IMO, if we make our own 19-song music collection for personal use, it should be our choice, and shouldn't be attacked. If we want ti copy entire CDs, on the other hand, then by all means, I'm for this idea. Better than each of two friends spending twenty bucks, individually, for a single CD.
