"What? A thread about that quest Nick dropped a few months ago? How is this possible? :odd: "
Yes, this thread is about Unification 2. ;)
Finally, after months of hibernation, Unification 2 is being worked on yet again, but it is being done in a new approach.
The overworld has been redone completely. It doesn't have any resemblence to the first Unification's overworld anymore. It is also much more exploreable.
Level 1 is completely different.
There is a mini dungeon before level 1 where you get the sword.
The plot is thicker than EE at the moment. It has also been changed.
Level 2 is being kept in tact, but revamped for 163.
Unification 2 uses a different tileset, thus I have to import all of the maps and convert them. Long, but worth it in my opinion.
Useless dialog has been added to make this thing a little realistic and not as boring. Not every old guy can say something wierd is going on 3 screens to the north. -_-
A demo should be available to the public in a week or two. It will go up to the end of Level 2, but no further.
I can only show one screenshot at the moment so I don't really give away what tileset I'm using...

This tileset could be anything from LTTP, old ML, R2, or even a mix of several of them, so guessing won't be easy. I won't say if your right either. -_-
Those who seen the preview at Pure ZC... "Shhh..." ;)
BTW, for those who don't know, that screenshot is from Level 2.
So... comments, concerns, anything?
