Yeah. Baseball fans here in MO are taking it pretty hard. I don't care about baseball too much but that makes to tragedies for the Cards recently.

Natural causes at age 33... somehow I doubt it.

Maybe it was old age. Baseball players often don't play in their thirties. :D

Died of natural causes at 33?

Baseball players live a very harsh life.

33, natural causes? How natural, exactly?

Well, if he was that young, most likely he had some disease.

Anyways, it's a shame, death is always sad. That's too bad.

His dad died from a heartattack when he was 40. Maybe he had a heartattack in his sleep.

I was watching the Cubs game today, and before the actual game, no one was warming up or anything. NOTE! It was Cubs VS Cardinals today's game. The Cardinals were waiting for him to show up. When the real game should have started, the players were hudled in the dugout, recieving news no one in the bleachers, or even the announcers heard. Well, time passed, and the audience got the idea something was wrong. Then Joe Girardi, a Cubs catcher, stepped up to the middle of the field with a microphone and sayed "We are sorry to bring a disapointment to you all... Todays game has been canceled... A tragedy happened today with the Cardinal family..." Then Girardi, in the middle of the feild, starts crying. The Cardinals and Cubs being so close, it really impacted everyone here.

Dying from natural causes usually means that the cause of death is unknown, or not readily apparent. A 12 year old around where I live, who just went to bed and was found dead the next morning was declared as having died of natural causes, because no real reason could be found for what caused his death, it could've been some poison or drug that got into his system and then left before it killed him. In the end, I never found out what killed him, other than "natural causes", and this was after the autopsy. Before the autopsy, the suspected it might be from drugs because his parents were drug users, but after the autopsy they didn't speak of any drugs in his system. Very weird.
