I just found a article about Scientists running a pioneering experiment with living robots which think for themselves.

The robot called Gaak escaped. :odd:

He was 1 of 12 that are setup to track and hunt. As they track and hunt they learn. :scared:

Heres a clip from the article.

Professor Noel Sharkey said he turned his back on the drone and returned 15 minutes later to find it had forced its way out of the small make-shift paddock it was being kept in.

The robot made it to the parking lot where it almost got hit.

Very soon we could have robot wars like in the MegamanX games. Humans will soon be obsolete.

If they can think for themselves are they sentient? Is there now robocide? Or technocide?

people have to make sure there are easy ways to beat them so they can never take over...

like in the tv show spongebob squarepants there was an episode where there was a robot with a "insert penny to self destruct" option.

ya but what if they were used in war and someone attacked them from behind and inserted pennies into said slot? but anyways, i think it might be cool with robots like x and zero. :kawaii:
