I need to know how to make a custom tilest. :confused:

Well, you can start with an existing tileset and edit (change) the tiles. Or you can rip tiles from other games.

Ohhh...... ummm...... I tried that and I found out my computer doesn't use .zgps.

Go to AZC. They have a guide to ripping there.

Uh... I'm pretty sure the only way to edit those is in ZQuest.

Personally speaking, though, I have tried several times to create a tileset from a ripped game, and the RomView Program always gives me some sort of BS graphics. I do everything I can, and it always gives me SQUIGGLES!!! What did I do to deserve SQUIGGLES!!!

So I always make my tilesets from scratch.

The best way to rip from a rom is to do it from a screenshot. This is because you can rip the palette, and you can find the tiles easily. ROMview is very hard to use, IMO.
