I need to know, I am probably behind on all this beta but what is a QSU?
an unencoded quest, a new feature in ZQuest

They are intended for backup and third party quest editors.
A third party quest editor would be handy, especially if it were programmed in say... Java(truly OS independent).

So we are given the format of how it works. I don't recall seeing a topic about it anywhere or does the info come with zquest?

If you're interested in programming a QSU editor, you'll have to contact DN for the info on the QSU format and how it works.

Okay, so what exactly does it do? What it is for? Why would we want it? Why am I so ignorant? And what is an unencoded quest, and how (and why) is it different from a regular quest.

Unencoded is a quest format that can be used with 3rd party editors and as backup. Why are they different? They cannot be played in ZC, as they are not *encoded* for use in ZC.
EDIT: I'm not stoned, and I can't spell, yea yea...

Well, it's an export file, so basically, if you wanted it to work with ZC, just import it!

We don't need that editor...
If you want to change QSUs import them, edit them and export them again..
No use for it...
