Check out the new artwork for Link's Awakening DX. Dunno if this was ever in the U.S. version of the GBC version but the original art was better. I don't like that art style.

The other is the British Majora's Mask Limited Edition.

Yes...Dreaming Island would be the title for the Japan version of Link's Awakening.

Did they use that art for Link's Awakening DX or did they reuse the old art? I never got the DX version.

That is not the same artwork as what is on the original Dreaming Island. It's a bit different.

Yes TSA, yes it is different than the original artwork for Link's Awakening.

My question was did they use this new artwork for the U.S. release of Link's Awakening DX, or did they keep the original artwork of Link's Awakening and reuse it for Link's Awakening DX?

1. US artwork was the SAME as the original for both versions.
2. I own both Dreaming Island and DI DX.
