Link Combos Rule: What does it do?

What does the Link Combos rule do? I'm trying to be especially cautious with my combos now that I'm on beta 163, I don't know if I should enable that or not... :sweat:

The linked combos rule makes it so you can't walk between something like two sets of stairs and not trigger them.

Aha. Very nice. Now that I know that, I can stop using sidewarps for my staircases.
