Conquest for Power: Demo 2 Release

Yes, you read it right, Demo 2 of Conquest for Power is here! This is a single level demo for Zelda Classic Beta 163. Now you can see all the new features I've added since Demo 1.

Here are some screenshots. The old screens are on the left, the new screens are on the right.

Here's a list of new things since the last demo:
1. New title screen
2. New swords
3. Custom guys in houses
4. A few tile improvements
5. Bug fixes to Level 1
6. All levels have hint guys, you can buy three hints if you get stuck

I also have some bad news. A moronic guy set up a tent and fell asleep in front of the entrance to Level 2! :eek: What are we going to do? Maybe the monsters will eat him by Demo 3... :evil:

I liked the old title screen better. I think you should leave it as it was.

I'd have to agree, the house thing looks a bit obscure... Plus the trees are a bit too varied. Still, they're both pretty good, I just prefer the first.

Most people don't seem to like the new title screen. The background for it is the actual screen of Ganon's tower. The old title screen was just a place holder until I made the actual screen.

Well, in another thread DFW got kinda jealous or something when you were showing off some screens and said "That isn't my best work." Oh, and the interior is MUCH better. And the NEW title screen, there are too any trees and not enough mountains.

Impressive... i like it, its got a nice tile set to it, and to boot its got a nice dungeon layout for the first dungeon (or i think it does anywho)

Thanks, and it should be done by December at the latest. I'm going to pretend the Quest Contest deadline is still August 15 and see how close to that I can get it done. But I wouldn't expect to see it any sooner than September. ;)
