A 3D Secret of Mana? Like the engine would be like Zelda's but the baddies have a lil HP bar over them....and with the press of a button, you can switch characters... :drool:

What do yall think?

No, I think a secret of mana game in 3D would be cool. Screw zelda. SoM had a fine game engine.

Does your idea include multiplayer co-op?

I dunno... I didn't much care for Zelda's 3D engine... the one on GC might be better...

Though the only 3D games I've ever really enjoyed had fixed camera positions... and that would definitely not work for Secret of Mana.

I'd rather they instead do another 2D Secret of Mana, but with the graphics from Legend of Mana and a sound track just like it.
Other than the fact the gameplay was marred by its miniquest system and mediocre battle system, I thought the presentation was absolutely magnificent.

I dunno, I enjoy 2D a lot more...but if Square redid all the old school FFs in 3D, that would be pretty cool.
